Other supplies that are always available include toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap and a variety of general cleaning supplies. These supplies include disinfecting wipes, disinfecting spray, laundry detergent (for our lodges equipped with washer and dryer) and hand sanitizers (when they are available).

Additionally, we now make available a variety of disinfecting products that our guests are welcome to use, free of charge. This has been our practice since 2016 when we began our vacation rental venture. We do employ a cleaning service and our cabins are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly after each guest checkout. We charge a nominal cleaning fee and expects our guests to perform some basic tasks upon checkout which are listed in the rental agreement.
In light of recent concerns surrounding the CoronaVirus, we want to emphasize that cleanliness is our highest priority. Conditions can change quickly so be prepared if you wish to book a stay during January or February. The township road which ends at the corner of our property is maintained through the winter but tire chains are recommended if not required at times. Our lodge is situated on a state forest road with no winter maintenance. A four wheel drive vehicle is generally required especially in January and February. Winter in the mountains can be beautiful and challenging at the same time. We try out best but make no guarantees when it comes to cell phone or internet service. Verizon Wireless seems to be the only carrier in the area. We have satellite internet which provides sketchy service at best. This location is very remote and therefore utilities are a challenge. If a trip to the Elk Viewing area is on your agenda, it's just a short drive away. They visit the property on a regular basis. If you've come to see the Elk, you likely won't have to go far. Perfect whether you’re a hunter, fisherman, wildlife enthusiast or just someone looking for peace and quiet. You’ll be situated right in the middle of 5 wooded acres and the entire property borders the state forest. We hope you agree, the most enticing feature of this property is its location. We’ve paid special attention to every detail inside even though we know once you walk through the sliding glass doors and on to the deck you’ll probably spend a good bit of your time outside. We’ve tried to think of everything you’ll need to ensure a first class stay. Whatever your reason for vacationing in the mountains, you’ve come to the right place.
